As a Process Implementation Engineer, you'll be responsible for translating product designs into robust, manufacturable production processes that consistently deliver product quality at industrial scale. The role bridges Product Development and Operations by defining process specifications, establishing standard operating conditions, troubleshooting process and recipe deviations, and driving continuous process improvement through data-driven methodologies.
About You
Main Responsibilities:
Product Industrialization
- Lead industrial scale-up of new products from pilot to full-scale manufacturing.
- Translate product specifications into detailed process specifications and manufacturing parameters.
- Develop and validate production processes that consistently deliver target product quality.
- Design, execute, and evaluate harsh-condition trials to assess process robustness for new products and significant recipe or process changes.
- Define standard operating windows and critical process parameters for each product.
Process Standards & Specifications
- Develop and maintain process specifications for every SKU.
- Align local process specifications with global technical standards and product specifications.
- Establish and periodically review standard running conditions for manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure process documentation remains accurate, controlled, and up to date.
Process Troubleshooting
- Investigate recipe- and raw material-related manufacturing issues affecting product quality or process performance.
- Identify root causes using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Restore manufacturing conditions to validated baseline operating parameters.
- Develop and continuously improve troubleshooting guides and decision trees for recipe- and process-related issues.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and statistical tools.
- Reduce process variability, waste, losses, and manufacturing inefficiencies.
- Implement process optimization projects to improve quality, productivity, and cost.
- Validate improvements through data analysis and sustained performance monitoring.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Development to ensure successful product commercialization.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams during implementation and optimization projects.
- Provide technical guidance on process-related aspects of recipe modifications and raw material changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 0-2 Years of experience.
- MS Office Suite proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on problem solving and stakeholder management.
- Basic Knowledge of statistical tools.
- FMCG Experience is a plus.
