About the Role

As an IT Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation, security, and performance of all hotel technology systems. Supporting the Director of IT, you will oversee day-to-day IT operations, provide technical leadership, and help deliver seamless technology experiences for both guests and employees.

This position is ideal for a hospitality technology professional who combines strong technical expertise with a service-oriented mindset. You will work closely with all hotel departments to ensure operational continuity, support business initiatives, and maintain the technology standards that enable exceptional Four Seasons guest experiences.

What You Will Do

 • Support the daily operation, maintenance, and performance of all hotel technology systems, applications, and infrastructure

 • Ensure critical hotel systems, including Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), telephony, networking, internet services, and business applications, remain available and fully operational

 •  Provide technical support and guidance to hotel employees, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and system-related issues

 • Deliver exceptional service to internal users and hotel guests, assisting with technical requirements and troubleshooting as needed

 • Support hotel guests and meeting organizers with connectivity, technology, and audiovisual requirements

 • Assist in maintaining server, network, and telecommunications infrastructure, including performance monitoring, updates, security, and troubleshooting

 • Participate in system upgrades, technology implementations, and property-wide IT projects

 • Support Active Directory administration, user account management, permissions, access controls, and security compliance

 • Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures to protect hotel operations and data integrity

 • Maintain and promote Four Seasons technology standards, policies, procedures, and security controls

 • Coordinate and collaborate with third-party vendors, suppliers, and technology service providers

 • Ensure the integrity and security of wired and wireless hotel networks and support cybersecurity initiatives

 • Assist in monitoring technology-related expenses and contribute to budgeting and capital planning processes

• Participate in property, regional, and corporate technology initiatives and implementations
• Provide support for conference spaces, meeting rooms, events, and other guest-facing technology environments
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, inventory records, and system procedures
• Build strong working relationships across all departments, supporting operational excellence through technology solutions
• Actively participate in annual IT and hotel security audits, reviews, and compliance assessments, ensuring alignment with Four Seasons standards and best practices.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in Information Technology, preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting hotel technology infrastructure, business applications, and end-user services

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, servers, operating systems, and enterprise technology environments

• Experience supporting Property Management Systems, Point of Sale systems, telephony solutions, and guest internet services is an advantage

• Knowledge of Active Directory, user administration, network security, backup solutions, and system troubleshooting

• Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively

• Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting both guests and employees

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

• High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and accountability

• Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in fast-paced environments

• Understanding of IT security principles, compliance requirements, and risk management practices

• Knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and technology planning is preferred

• Excellent English communication skills; Hungarian is a must

• Flexibility to support operational requirements, including occasional after-hours support when needed

Schedule & Hours

• Full-time position.

• Primarily business-hour schedule, with flexibility to support operational requirements, critical system maintenance, projects, emergencies, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
