NP/PA - Hospitalist APP - Ludington, MI

The Ludington Hospital team is looking for Part Time (0.75 FTE) Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital medicine practice caring for patients on their busy team. In addition to PAs, they are seeking Acute Care or Adult Gerontology NPs. Experience is preferred but not required.

Position Details

• Working with a well‑established physician group, additional APPs, and other disciplines to assure safety and success
• Average of 5 twelve‑hour shifts over a two‑week period (7am-7 pm or 7pm–7am), with no call requirements
• Variability with scheduling as needed with the team
• Robust ramp‑up and orientation process
• Virtual Nocturnist available for consultation as needed

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner

• Master’s degree required
• NP education and certification (post‑2000) must be from a program accredited by CCNE or NLNAC
• 3 years of relevant, current clinical experience
• Previous experience functioning in a collaborative NP role
• Michigan NP license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Physician Assistant

• Master’s degree required; graduate of an accredited PA program
• Michigan PA license
• PA‑C certification through NCCPA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Corewell Health Ludington Hospital is a 49-bed acute care hospital located in Mason County along the shore of Lake Michigan. Ludington Hospital offers a full range of services, including inpatient medical, surgical, step-down, obstetrical and critical care units. In addition, Ludington Hospital has a 24-hour emergency department with all-private treatment rooms, plus a "FastER track" service for the treatment of minor illness and injuries with minimal wait times. Specialties on our medical staff include general and vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, ENT, oncology and hematology, emergency medicine, urology, family medicine, internal medicine, anesthesiology, radiology, pathology, ophthalmology and obstetrics & gynecology.
