Join the growing Nu3s team! We're looking for an experienced Senior Cafe Barista Lead with experience, who is passionate about coffee, customer service, and team leadership. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines barista expertise with employee training, coaching, and operational support.

What You'll Do

• Lead, train, and coach baristas to deliver exceptional customer service
• Assist management with employee performance, accountability, and development
• Support employee relations and help maintain a positive team culture
• Prepare high-quality espresso drinks, specialty coffees, teas, smoothies, and shakes
• Operate, clean, and troubleshoot commercial espresso machines and coffee equipment
• Monitor drink quality, consistency, and presentation standards by following SOP and recipe cards
• Support inventory management, stocking, and café organization
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and create positive guest experiences
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained as per health codes and company standards
• Lead shifts and support daily café operations.
• Train, coach, and onboard new team members.
• Support employee performance, accountability, and service standards.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, and café organization.
• Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Serve as the point person when management is unavailable.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of barista experience in a café or coffee shop
• Prior leadership, lead barista, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong customer service experience is required
• Experience training, coaching, and developing employees
• Knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and accountability
• Skilled in espresso preparation, milk steaming, coffee brewing, and specialty beverages
• Experience working with commercial espresso machines and café equipment
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible availability required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Adaptable to startup environment.
