Webster Dental Care is a well-established, multi-location dental group that has been serving Chicagoland communities for more than 50 years. Our practices provide comprehensive dental care across a wide range of specialties, with a focus on creating an excellent experience for both our patients and our team members.

We are currently seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Patient Services Representative to join our Skokie office. As one of the first points of contact for our patients, the PSR plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience while helping keep the office organized and running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and appointment needs
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
• Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
• Collect patient payments, copays, and outstanding balances
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
• Assist with insurance eligibility and benefit verification
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Monitor the schedule and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate team members
• Help fill openings and maintain a productive patient schedule
• Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, dental assistants, and other front-office team members
• Respond to patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Follow established office policies and procedures
• Assist with other administrative and front-office responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Previous dental or medical front-office experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional and friendly phone etiquette
• Comfortable handling payments and discussing patient account balances
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy office environment
• Comfortable working with computers, scheduling systems, and electronic patient records
• Experience with Dentrix is a plus
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
