2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Client Solutions and Wealth Management

Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work at Guardian.

 

You will be assigned to one of the following domains: Client Solutions, Wealth Management, Distribution, Principal Owner Development, or Business Transformation.

 

Internship Dates:

The internship program will run from Thursday, May 27, 2027- Friday, August 6, 2027.

You are:

A current junior (graduation date of May 2028) who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions and thrive in a goal-oriented environment.

You have:

Required Qualifications:

• A course of study in mathematics, economics, a business-related discipline (such as finance, accounting, marketing, or management), or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail

• A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with, or hands-on experience using, artificial intelligence (AI) tools to research, analyze, or improve the way work gets done

 

You will:                                                 

• Support projects and analyses that advance the goals of one or more Client Solutions and Wealth Management (CSWM) areas

• Gather, organize, and analyze data to identify trends and inform recommendations

• Prepare clear, well-structured deliverables such as summaries, presentations, and reports for team and leadership audiences

• Collaborate across teams and build relationships while learning how the different areas of CSWM work together to serve customers and grow the business

• Build an understanding of how the organization delivers financial solutions, supports distribution growth, enhances advisor capabilities, and drives transformational initiatives across the enterprise

• Explore and apply AI tools to improve research, analysis, and day-to-day work where appropriate

• Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career

• Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings

• Build a network of colleagues and have a sense of community with other interns and other parts of the business

• Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts, and other information

• Be a self-starter – someone who enjoys “rolling up their sleeves and getting things done”, has high energy, strong work ethic, displays the ability to work independently, and is creative

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.

Salary Range:

$20.00 - $35.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
