About the job 

We are expanding our team and are looking for an outgoing and proactive Technical Inside Sales.

Working closely with external sales colleagues and product specialists, you will help drive profitable growth while building strong customer relationships. You will have the opportunity to develop deep product knowledge and contribute to the continued success of Alfa Laval's innovative solutions within Food and Pharma.

As a Technical Inside Sales, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and sales organization in the Nordics, by providing technical knowledge combined with quoting. You will have a focus on our heat exchangers; however, we also work with products like pumps and valves.

Your primary focus will be:

• Working in our CRM preparing quotations and handling price inquiries
• Handling customer inquiries – both on email and phone
• Provide technical datasheets and drawings

• Manage the shared inbox

• Upselling to customers/spotting potential business (involving KAM etc.) 

• Identifying the best technical solutions and ensuring professional and timely customer experience. 
  

You will be part of a team of ten and report to Tina Masini Tarp, a manager who aims to create a collaborative environment where people feel trusted, take ownership, and contribute to shared success. You are a customer-focused and proactive team player who enjoys combining technical knowledge with quoting. You take ownership of your tasks, work in a through structured manner, and thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can change. 

You are a natural relationship builder and communicate confidently with both customers and colleagues. Most importantly, you are motivated by helping customers find the right solutions and creating value through excellent service. 
You navigate easily in a larger organization and are not afraid to make contact with new people.

What you know 

You will focus on a product group whose components can be assembled in almost endless variations. To succeed, we believe you have a genuine technical curiosity and ability to understand customer processes and applications. You enjoy working independently while collaborating effectively across functions.

Requirement:

• Experience from technical and/or inside sales or application engineering.
• Technical education preferably within the field of Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience with CRM and ERP systems

• Excellent communication skills in English in addition to a Scandinavian language. 

Merit:

• Knowledge of heat exchangers and/or experience from similar products and branches.
