Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

·       With reference to GE HealthCare EHS Framework and local/international regulation requirement, develop and drive strong EHS management programs in site to prevent EHS related non-compliances and maintain a safe, healthy, and green workplace during site operation activities.

·       Implement site chemical management, assess risks, complete regulatory registrations and declaration.

·       Implement Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health programs and improvements, arrange OH checkups, manage employees OH files documentation.

·       Conduct EHS Risk Assessments and Process Hazard Analyses to define the appropriate technical solutions to mitigate the identified hazards.

·       Lead on site regular compliance self-assessment, identify, investigate and provide practical solutions to the causes of non-compliances, drive the findings to full closure if they occur.

·       Lead EHS training programs, track training completion rate and solve training issues.

·       Sustain and promote site EHS and ISO management systems and documentation.

·       Collect and report monthly GHG data for business priorities, follow up sustainability projects progress.

·       Follow site Management of Change process to timely identify and evaluate potential sustainability impact.

·       Perform inspections and audits of working areas, equipment and processes, follow up all identified findings to full closure.

·       Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree or above in Environment or Safety Engineering, Chemistry, or other relevant engineering discipline.

·       3~5 years relevant practical experience in manufacturing site.

·       Good knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 450001, working safety, LOTO, chemical management.

·       Strong team player with solid communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Strong self-initiative and positive attitude while dealing with challenges.

·       Strong willingness/ability to learn new things for professional development.

·       Fluent in English & Mandarin Chinese.

·       Strong computer skills in MS office software.
