POSITION SPECIFICS
The Office of Physical Plant’s (OPP) Facilities Applications team is seeking a Facilities Systems Analyst – Professional to support OPP’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This position ensures the reliable performance and effective use of IBM Maximo and associated applications that support OPP operations.
The successful candidate will report to the Facilities Applications – Maximo Supervisor. This is a full-time position and may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The Facilities Applications team supports flexible work arrangements when aligned with the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position. Questions related to flexible work arrangements should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Ensure the reliable performance of facilities systems/applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve related system and user issues.
Participate in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, test, and implement financial systems and applications.
Monitor system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability.
Recommend new features or optimizations based on user feedback.
Work closely with internal and external customers to assist with and diagnose day-to-day software issues.
Administer and facilitate user access to systems.
Provide application support and act as the initial point of contact for the Enterprise Asset Management system and supporting systems.
Escalate tickets that cannot be resolved.
Handle user access and person, group, and labor record maintenance.
Ensure the integrity and reliability of applications and their data.
Provide guidance and expertise to users and stakeholders.
Create and maintain knowledge base and business process documentation for Tier 1 support.
Assist with training coordination, classroom support, training logistics, and the development and publishing of job aids.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Experience with IBM Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) applications preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and system support experience.
Experience supporting business applications, user access, and data integrity.
Excellent communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
Experience creating documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Associate Degree No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education. Required Certifications: None

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $49,188.00 - $71,340.00.
