RIDGEVIEW Behavioral Health Services, a nonprofit community mental health center, is seeking a Full Time Program Manager for the newly awarded SSGT Fox Suicide Prevention grant, which will be known as Call Sign HOPE at Ridgeview.  You will be part of the startup team for Call Sign HOPE and part of the hiring process to form your new team. As Program Manager, you will play a key ongoing role in suicide prevention for veterans in our area.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree required (master’s preferred).  If Bachelor's isn't in social sciences or mental health (examples: counseling, psychology, social work, vocational rehabilitation) or does not in

clude 15+ credit hours of related courses on transcript, then relevant training and supervision will be provided after hire.  Lived military experience/veteran status preferred. Must maintain a valid TN driver's license and a safe driving record.  The position requires a self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to be self-directed. Program Manager must possess excellent interpersonal skills with people from differing backgrounds and cultures.  


JOB DUTIES

This position provides leadership for all components of the SSGT Fox SPGP/Call Sign HOPE Grant program and supervises the work of that team. The role requires support of Ridgeview’s Mission, Vision and Values. The Program Manager ensures oversight of outreach, case management, peer services (to include adventure-based activities), documentation, processes and professional issues of other members of the SSGT Fox SPGP/Call Sign HOPE team, ensuring compliance with grant requirements. Engages in program outreach and recruitment, representing the SSGT Fox SPGP/Call Sign HOPE program within the defined service area (Anderson, Campbell, Scott, Union, Claiborne, Fentress, Pickett, Putnam, Overton, Clay and Jackson Counties). Key focal points of this project are to prevent veteran suicide, assist veterans in accessing resources and supports, navigate the VA healthcare and benefits system, address stigma around help-seeking, assist veterans in rebuilding purpose, identity, and community post-service, and assist veterans to manage the cumulative stress of deployments, reintegration, and moral injury. This role will help coordinate warm hand-offs for both internal and external referrals as appropriate.  Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with other members of Ridgeview’s multi-disciplinary teams.  Conduct regular advisory council meetings.
