Shape the story. Shape the experience
Marketing at Lloyds Banking Group isn’t about selling products. It’s about building brands people trust, creating experiences that matter. It’s about helping millions of customers make smarter financial decisions.
Our Brands, Marketing & Experience (BMX) division plays a central role in the Group’s purpose of helping Britain prosper. We deliver personalised, data-driven customer communications, build world-class brand engagement, and make sure every interaction feels relevant and human.
As a Marketing Graduate, you’ll be right in the middle of the action, part of a fast, creative, and digitally driven team – learning how to craft campaigns, design customer journeys, and harness data and technology to make an impact that lasts.
Two years. Three rotations. Real influence
You’ll rotate across three placements in BMX – gaining a 360° view of how marketing builds value and creates impact, over the course of two years.
You could be working in:
- Insights, Planning & Effectiveness – turning customer data into smart strategy.
- Group Brands & B2B – managing portfolios and partnerships.
- Experience Design – shaping journeys that are useful, usable and delightful.
- Consumer Marketing – driving full-funnel campaigns for some of the UK’s biggest brands
What your work could look like
- Designing campaigns seen by millions.
- Partnering with UX/UI specialists to improve journeys.
- Using tools like Tableau, Sprinklr and Oracle to track and optimise.
- Working with agencies to bring bold creative ideas to life.
- Testing and refining campaigns to boost engagement and brand impact.
The skills you’ll master
By the end of the scheme, you’ll be:
- Insight-driven – using data to spark ideas.
- Brand-savvy – growing and protecting household names.
- Creative and strategic – balancing bold thinking with commercial outcomes.
- Digitally confident – hands-on with tools like Adobe, Figma, Co-Pilot.
- Collaborative – thriving in cross-functional teams.
Support to succeed
You’ll get:
- On-the-job training in brand, marketing and experience design.
- Access to expert mentors and buddies.
- Learning opportunities through Microsoft 365, Adobe Firefly, Tableau and more.
- A culture that values creativity, experimentation and continuous feedback.
Your career. Make it unforgettable
You’ll roll off into a permanent role at Assistant Manager level in one of our BMX teams – equipped with:
- Multi-disciplinary skills across brand, marketing, design, data and analytics.
- Experience of working on high-profile campaigns and projects that shape how customers see and experience our brands.
- The confidence and connections to take your career anywhere in marketing – within Lloyds Banking Group and beyond.
Requirements
What you need to apply
- While we do not require a minimum degree achievement, we strongly recommend the ability to be able to demonstrate sound knowledge, understanding and technical skills aligned to the role. Some aspects of this, alongside behaviours and values, will be assessed through the application process.
- Please note that we cannot sponsor visas.
- Creativity, curiosity, and a genuine interest in marketing and customer experience.
- Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn new digital tools.
