The Finance Analyst will provide comprehensive financial and analytical support for a Facilities Management client account within JLL's Real Estate Management Services (REMS) division. This role focuses on day-to-day financial operations including transaction processing, MIS reporting, variance analysis, and client billing support. The Finance Analyst will work closely with client finance teams, JLL operations personnel, and the Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely invoicing, and effective financial controls for the account.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the client account
  • Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and update financial trackers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial close processes

Variance Analysis & Performance Tracking

  • Conduct detailed variance analysis comparing actuals against budgets and forecasts
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and cost drivers impacting financial performance
  • Prepare commentary and explanations for variances to support management review
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics relevant to the client account

Budgeting & Forecasting Support

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Gather inputs from operations teams and consolidate financial data for planning processes
  • Update forecast models based on actual performance and business changes
  • Support scenario analysis and what-if modeling exercises

Client Billing & Invoicing

  • Coordinate client billing activities, ensuring accurate and timely invoice generation
  • Review billing data for completeness and accuracy before client submission
  • Liaise with client finance teams to resolve billing queries and disputes
  • Track invoice status, payment collections, and accounts receivable aging

Stakeholder Coordination & Client Engagement

  • Serve as a finance point of contact for day-to-day client inquiries and requests
  • Coordinate with external client finance teams on routine financial matters, data requests, and reporting schedules
  • Work collaboratively with JLL operations teams to gather information and resolve financial issues
  • Participate in client review meetings and present financial reports as needed

Transaction Processing & Data Management

  • Process financial transactions in ERP systems with accuracy and adherence to controls
  • Maintain data integrity across financial systems and databases
  • Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close activities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and client-specific requirements

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency
  • Support implementation of automation tools and system enhancements
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures and documentation

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or related field required

Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis roles
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing or stakeholder engagement activities (coordinating with external client teams or business partners)
  • Background in financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and transactional finance
  • Experience supporting billing or invoicing processes

Industry Experience (Preferred)

  • Exposure to Facilities Management, Real Estate Services, Property Management, or related service industries is desirable but not mandatory

Technical Proficiency

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis, charting)
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as JDE (JD Edwards), SAP, or similar enterprise finance platforms
  • Financial modeling and analytical capabilities
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools is a plus
