Job Summary
As a Process Automation Engineer Co-op, you will design and deliver scalable automation that reduces manual effort and improves accuracy across the organization. You will collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze workflows, gather requirements, and implement end-to-end automation solutions. The role involves building maintainable, performance optimized systems while continuously exploring modern technologies, including AI driven and web-based automation, to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify, analyze, and automate manual and repetitive business processesÂ
- Gather and translate business and technical requirements into efficient automation designsÂ
- Develop and maintain scalable automation solutions usingâŻJava, Python, .NET, SQL, etc. Â
- Build object oriented, database driven automation with secure and efficient API integrationsÂ
- Design automation workflows with a focus on maintainability, performance, and reusabilityÂ
- Support and enhance existing automation systems as requirements evolveÂ
- Evaluate and adopt modern tools and approaches, includingâŻweb-based automation, testing frameworks, and AI assisted solutions, where applicableÂ
Key Qualifications
- Postsecondary education inâŻComputer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldÂ
- Strong hands-on experience withâŻJava, Python, C#, SQL, and object-oriented programming principlesÂ
- Solid background inâŻdatabase design, optimization, and performance tuningâŻusing relational and NoSQL databases such asâŻMySQL and MongoDBÂ
- Experience buildingâŻmodern, user focused web applicationsâŻand automation interfaces using frameworks such asâŻReact and related web technologiesÂ
- Familiarity withâŻAPI driven integrations, automation testing toolsÂ
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within agile, fast paced teamsÂ
- Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies quicklyÂ
