Position Overview -We are seeking a professional, energetic, and service-oriented Server Assistant to join our Food & Beverage team.

The Server Assistant plays an important role in supporting the servers and service team while helping create a seamless dining experience for our members and guests. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in being helpful, works well as part of a team, and understands that exceptional service depends on attention to detail and consistent execution. The Server Assistant is an essential part of the dining room team and should always be prepared to step in, anticipate needs, and help the team deliver an elevated level of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Support servers and other Food & Beverage team members throughout the dining experience.
• Assist with setting, maintaining, and resetting tables according to Quail Ridge standards.
• Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly prepared before members and guests are seated.
• Deliver and clear plates, glassware, silverware, and other service items as directed.
• Refill water and assist with beverage service when appropriate.
• Monitor tables and dining areas to identify and respond to member needs promptly.
• Assist servers with delivering food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Clear used dishes, glassware, and other items promptly and discreetly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room, service stations, and assigned areas.
• Keep service stations properly stocked throughout the shift.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including side work and dining room preparation.
• Communicate member requests and service needs to the appropriate server or manager.
• Work closely with culinary, bar, host, server, and management teams to maintain smooth service.
• Assist during special events, member functions, and high-volume periods as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.
• Follow all club service standards, sanitation requirements, and safety procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when interacting with members and guests.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in an upscale restaurant, private club, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
• Previous server assistant, food runner, busser, or front-of-house experience is a plus.
• A genuine interest in hospitality and providing excellent service.
• Professional, polished, and approachable demeanor.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the service team.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow direction and respond positively to coaching.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Food safety certification preferred or may be required based on position responsibilities.
