About the Role
As a key member of the Operational Excellence Team, and under the direct oversight of the Director, Operational Excellence, you will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of operational improvement initiatives across Teranet. This includes developing strategies to improve performance metrics aimed at productivity, efficiency, and quality.
You will work closely with Project and Change Managers to engage employees in improvement initiatives. The incumbent will also be expected to facilitate and coach improvement teams while creating a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, effective problem solving, and adherence to industry best practices
What You’ll Be Doing
Support and lead the Operational Excellence (OPEX) Training Program across the organization.
Identification, prioritization, and implementation of process improvement initiatives locally or corporately to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery and to create a continuous improvement culture within the organization.
Increase awareness and understanding of operational excellence methodologies, tools, processes, and principles.
Guide all business functions using LEAN/Six Sigma and other operational improvement methodologies.
Build effective relationships, influence, and motivate business units and leadership teams to ensure their commitment to the achievement of operational excellence.
Support operational analysis activities relating to cost efficiencies and work distribution.
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Robotics Process Automation is a plus
Understanding of different software delivery mindset and methodologies such as Agile and/or DevOps is also a plus.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required. PMP, Agile, and Change Management credentials are Nice to haves.
Leading Continuous Improvement Training programs - From conception to delivery is required.
RPA implementation and process mapping/mining software experience would be an asset
5+ years of previous experience in an Operations role, preferably in an administrative/office environment or Manufacturing is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Practical experience leveraging and deploying analytical tools and leading data-driven decision processes.
Strong interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities.
Ability to communicate in a clear, simple, constructive, and effective fashion.
A strong client-oriented approach.
Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills in a changing environment.
Business mindset and acumen with proven success providing Senior Leaders and Executives with succinct communications (written & verbal), inclusive of go-forward action plan to outline critical control points, timelines, milestones, and key stakeholder involvement
Time, priority, and project management skills – able to keep initiatives with varying levels of size, scope, and complexity moving forward in alignment with their stated objective
Advanced MS suite of tools skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, Project)

The annual pay range for this role is $115,5000 - $122,550 CAD, inclusive of base salary and target incentive pay.
