Description

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented QA & Compliance Specialist to act as the final quality gate before website launch.

This role is responsible for conducting end-to-end audits across content, accessibility, performance, analytics, design fidelity, and functional quality. The successful candidate will identify defects before launch, ensure compliance with agreed standards, and provide clear documentation for development and remediation teams.

The ideal candidate combines content quality assurance, accessibility testing, technical web auditing, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-launch QA across staging and production-ready websites.
  • Verify website content against approved source documents and stakeholder-approved content.
  • Cross-check live CMS builds against approved Figma designs and specifications.
  • Identify and document content, design, accessibility, technical, and functional defects.
  • Conduct accessibility audits using automated tools and manual testing.
  • Verify website performance against agreed Lighthouse benchmarks.
  • Verify WOGAA tracking implementation across all applicable pages and templates.
  • Test WOGAA Sentiments widget implementation and functionality.
  • Verify links, anchors, navigation, forms, images, headings, metadata, and page structures.
  • Identify spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, and content inconsistencies.
  • Conduct regression testing after defects have been fixed.
  • Produce structured QA reports and maintain defect logs throughout the sprint.
  • Categorise defects according to severity and business impact.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, content strategists, project managers, and stakeholders to close defects before launch.
  • Provide clear evidence and reproduction steps for technical defects.
  • Maintain QA documentation and audit trails for formal approval and sign-off.

Core Quality Assurance Competencies

Accessibility Auditing

Hands-on experience auditing websites against WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA requirements.

The candidate should be able to perform:

  • Automated accessibility scans.
  • Keyboard-only navigation testing.
  • Focus-state and focus-order testing.
  • Colour contrast verification.
  • Heading hierarchy checks.
  • Link and button accessibility checks.
  • Image alt-text verification.
  • Form accessibility checks.
  • Screen-reader testing using:
  • NVDA
  • VoiceOver
  • Manual validation of issues identified by automated tools.

Experience with the following is highly preferred:

  • Oobee Accessibility Suite
  • WOGAA Inspect
  • Axe Core

Fidelity & Content Verification

  • Perform detailed 1:1 comparison between approved Figma designs and staging CMS builds.
  • Verify typography, spacing, alignment, imagery, components, navigation, and responsive layouts.
  • Check every page for:
  • Typos
  • Incorrect or missing content
  • Broken links
  • Broken anchor links
  • Incorrect URLs
  • Formatting inconsistencies
  • Missing images
  • Incorrect image treatment
  • Incorrect headings
  • Metadata issues
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a zero-tolerance mindset toward launch-critical defects.

Performance & Technical Benchmarking

  • Conduct and document Google Lighthouse audits.
  • Verify target scores of 90–100 across:
  • Performance
  • Accessibility
  • Best Practices
  • SEO
  • Understand and identify issues affecting:
  • LCP
  • CLS
  • INP
  • Verify technical SEO implementation, including page titles, metadata, canonical URLs, and other agreed requirements.

Analytics & WOGAA Verification

  • Verify WOGAA tracking scripts across applicable pages and template layouts.
  • Confirm correct placement and execution of WOGAA JavaScript.
  • Verify WOGAA Sentiments widget implementation.
  • Identify missing, duplicated, or incorrectly configured tracking.

Defect Management

  • Create structured QA reports with clear reproduction steps.
  • Categorise defects by severity, for example:
  • Critical — prevents launch or creates significant compliance/functionality risk.
  • Major — significant defect requiring remediation before launch.
  • Minor — low-impact issue that does not materially affect functionality.
  • Assign defects to the appropriate team and track resolution.
  • Conduct regression testing after fixes.
  • Maintain accurate QA status throughout each sprint.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in digital QA, content QA, web QA, content strategy, or related roles.
  • Strong experience testing websites and CMS-based digital platforms.
  • Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA.
  • Experience conducting both automated and manual accessibility testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication.
  • Experience documenting defects and managing QA cycles.
  • Familiarity with Google Lighthouse and website performance testing.
  • Ability to work within Agile and rapid sprint environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Singapore Government .gov.sg websites.
  • Experience with Oobee, WOGAA Inspect, and/or Axe Core.
  • Experience with WOGAA tracking and Sentiments.
  • Experience conducting screen-reader testing using NVDA or VoiceOver.
  • Experience working with government, healthcare, financial services, utilities, or other regulated digital platforms.
  • Experience reviewing Figma designs against live CMS implementations.
