The Position: Reporting to the Senior Manager Customer Services we are seeking a consultant – Safety to support and build our safety portfolio in ANZ region. Our APAC business is growing rapidly, and this newly created position will see you be integral partner to the wider business in defining and expansion of our consultancy services for our Safety portfolio
This position will bridge the gap between technology deployment through to operational adoption and optimisation, working with a variety of mining customers on the solution integration of our Safety technology (Hexagons OAS and CA) to their operations.
As a trusted advisor to customers, you will provide consultation, analysis, and operational guidance to improve and strengthen safety practices, providing guidance on practical strategies to enhance operational outcomes
In this role you will partner with a diverse stakeholder group to support the adoption, integration, and optimisation of safety technology to ensure solutions are embedded effectively.
About you
We are looking for an experience Safety/Mining Production professional with background in mining operations, working with safety OT Technology, who has led new technology integration and change management strategies for successful adoption.
This role will offer the chance to utilise your expertise in a growing & high demand field working with a variety of mining clients at varied stages of safety maturity and capability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Psychology, Human Factors, Safety, or related field, is desired not essential
- Prior experience in mining production and ideally within safety for mining operations.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Prior experience in leading or being involved in change management, or organisation development
- Preferably an understanding of human factors and safety principles in high-risk environments, would be desired not essential
- Ability to communication across all levels of stakeholders, adapting content and direction to relative audience.
- Prior experience leading new technology adoption or deployment in mining production, with understanding of critical stages through change management
