H&R Block, the world’s leader in tax preparation services, is looking for exceptional people looking for seasonal work and gain experience with the federal and state tax laws, have strong customer service skills who would like to work in full or part-time position assisting our Tax Institute’s Tax Research Analysts solve their client’s tax law questions during the upcoming tax season!
As a seasonal Tax Research Representative, you will be provided training for using Salesforce and exercising your research and tax knowledge while working flexible hours in a 100% remote position.

Day to day, you’ll…
Utilize Salesforce to manage and track incoming tax law questions from H&R Block tax professionals
Review and respond to tax-related inquiries, applying current tax law knowledge to provide accurate information
Identify when questions require further analysis and escalate to Tax Research Analysts as needed
Communicate primarily through chat, ensuring responses are clear, professional, and timely
Gain exposure to a wide range of tax topics by working directly with preparers who are supporting clients
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus, and perform assignments in a highly detailed and accurate manner
- Demonstrated tax law knowledge with strong analytical and research skills to interpret and solve complex issues
- 1 year minimum related work experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
