Description
We are looking for a Murex Trading Consultant to support both BAU activities and a large scale project within the Trading domain. The successful candidate will contribute to project deliverables across the full lifecycle, including business analysis, specification writing, configuration, testing, validation, and user support.
Responsibilities
• Participate as a Stream Member within the Trading workstream for project and BAU activities.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Produce functional specifications and solution documentation.
• Configure Murex functionalities according to business requirements.
• Perform functional testing, validation, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage assigned deliverables end-to-end, ensuring timely completion and adherence to agreed specifications.
• Work closely with the Stream Lead, business users, and technical teams throughout project delivery.
• Investigate and resolve application issues, providing user support and assistance. • Support release activities, enhancements, and production issues within the Trading domain.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
Profile:
• Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably from Quantitative Finance, Applied Finance, Banking or relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 2+ years of Murex experience.
• Experience as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or Murex Consultant.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation.
Experience in:
• Business requirements analysis
• Functional specification writing
• System configuration
• Testing and validation
• User support
• Good understanding of Trading workflows and financial markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Treasury domain knowledge is preferred
• Experience supporting both project implementation and BAU activities in a banking or capital markets environment.
• Exposure to Murex Trading modules is an advantage.
