Position: Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics

Duties: Develop data models (algorithms, approaches) for complex projects within a business area or category to drive business results and value. Collaborate with project team to implement modeling solutions. Evaluate new data analysis techniques to support prototype development. Collaborate with cross-functional partners on prototypes and algorithms. Lead the development and execution of advanced analytics to address unique business and technical problems and support data-driven decision making. Make strategic recommendations to cross-functional leadership based on analysis results. Collaborate across all analytics functions to develop and implement data analysis strategies and anticipate future trends and analysis. Own complex projects end-to-end for a business area, category, or prototype. Manage risk associated with implementation. Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Consult senior leadership/business partners to understand overall goals/functional objectives, decipher key business challenges, identify tactics to anticipate and mitigate business challenges/issues, and develop potential success criteria. Focus efforts on items that have maximum impact to the business. Contribute to business area strategic planning by providing input and actionable recommendations and solutions to senior leadership based on advanced research and analytical findings. Manage the development and implementation of prototypes and production-ready complex algorithms for complex projects. Manage the testing and validation process to monitor the solution. Collaborate with functional leadership and cross-functional teams to develop consultative solutions for complex projects for a business area, category, or prototype. Collaborates and partners with external business partners and vendors. This position supervises two (2) employees (2 Manager(s), Advanced Analytics).

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering (Any), Computer Science, or related field and 4 years of experience in data analytics or related field; OR Master's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering (Any), Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.

Skills required: Experience with SQL-based data mining and scalable ETL. Experience using Python, Excel, and BI tools to drive insights. Experience building dashboards and reports to enable monitoring using data visualization tools. Experience analyzing clickstream and transactional data to map customer journeys, apply statistical methods, and build segmentation and attribution models for actionable insights. Experience setting up and performing experiments to understand impact of new product launches. Experience building KPIs and metrics, monitoring frameworks, and benchmarking. Experience building instrumentation requirements for engineering on the front end to understand and track user interactions with the platform. Experience assigning tasks, reviewing performance, providing mentorship, and ensuring that project deadlines are met with high-quality standards. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $212,027/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
