Job Summary

Reporting to the VP, Supply Chain, this position is responsible for Supply Chain transformation and integration across all of Prisma Health. This position serves in a key leadership role in Supply Chain and is responsible for leading the Informatics, Inventory Control, and warehouse operations teams and all Supply Chain mergers and acquisitions activity, integration and implementation of Supply Chain services, and functions as a key resource for Supply Chain leadership. This position will coordinate closely with the Director-Growth & Transformation in the Business Transformation office.

This position will perform people, process, and technology assessments and spearhead labor and workflow optimization opportunities across the Supply Chain teams. This role will function as a thought leader within Supply Chain and will lead key, complex, strategic projects from conception to implementation, ensuring data integrity throughout all Supply Chain systems.

Business process standardization and optimization is a key measure of success in this position, with a key focus on cost management and reduction strategies. Additionally, this position, in conjunction with the VP, Supply Chain, will lead strategic Supply Chain transformation efforts and initiatives. This position is also responsible for working with a variety of key business, clinical, and operations stakeholders across the Prisma Health system as well as their peers within Supply Chain. This position will continuously lead process development, improvement plans, and will closely collaborate with all relevant stakeholders, while utilizing key change management methodologies to ensure successful adoption.

Essential Functions

  • Under the guidance of the VP-Supply Chain, assists in the leading of the Prisma Health Supply Chain vision and overall strategy.
  • Provides day-to-day oversight of the Informatics, Inventory Control, and warehouse operations teams.
  • Leads all Supply Chain mergers and acquisitions activity, integration and implementation of Supply Chain services.
  • Leads assessments of people, process, and technology, with a key focus on labor and workflow optimization, while balancing service improvements and cost reductions.
  • Partners with the Business Transformation Office leadership to conduct due diligence on any potential mergers and acquisitions activities.
  • Performs comprehensive business assessments, including total cost of ownership and return on investment and presents to executive leadership.
  • Functions as a member of the Prisma Health Supply Chain leadership team, participating in the development of operating and capital budgets, strategic programs, policies, and plans for the effective operation of the Prisma Health system.
  • Partners with Prisma Health executive leadership to pursue opportunities for reduction of expenses in equipment, supplies, and purchased service areas for all aspects of the supply chain.
  • Oversees Supply Chain cross-functional projects/initiatives, including researching, benchmarking, analyzing data, generating recommendations, and creating system and process to streamline operations.
  • Interviews, hires, conduct performance evaluations, trains, and attends to personnel issues with staff under his/her area of responsibility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

  • Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have two or more direct reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education – Bachelor's Degree - Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience – 10 years in Supply chain; healthcare preferred
