  • Influence components, topology, and technology selection through trade-off analyses involving performance, cost, power, size, EMI/EMC, and reliability.
  • Define critical-to-quality and critical-to-function parameters and quantify performance against requirements.
  • Advance technical roadmaps by evaluating alternative technologies and improving the robustness, reliability, and performance of critical subsystems.
  • Support diagnostic instruments and devices throughout their lifecycle by addressing regulatory compliance, field issues, yield improvements, and cost optimization.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, with 12+ years of experience in electrical hardware design and development for complex electromechanical products.
  • Expertise in completing product certification for CE marking and electrical compliance standards such as IEC 61326-2-6 , IEC 61000-3-x, 60601-1-2 and IEC 61010-1, and FCC Part 15 Subpart B.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Cadence, Xpedition, or Altium design tool suites, including schematic design and printed circuit board layout review.
  • Experience in designing and reviewing analog, digital, mixed-signal, power electronics, data-acquisition, and system power-distribution hardware.
  • Experience in applying risk analysis, design FMEA, reliability engineering practices, signal and power integrity analysis, EMI/EMC compliance and hardware verification.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
