Bakery Assistant (Part-Time) | $18–$21/hr

Located within the historic Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square, our restaurants and event spaces offer unforgettable dining and event experience in one of the most beautiful venues in Utah.

We’re looking for Bakery Assistants who are passionate professionals and take pride in their craft, contributing to a team known for excellence.

Part-time | 15–25 hours/week | 2–3 shifts

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assist with the preparation of bread and other baked goods

• Weighs, measures, and organizes ingredients according to recipes
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, including equipment and utensils

• Adheres to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Assists with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies

• Communicates effectively with management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

• Performs other duties as assigned by management

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food preparation role (high-volume preferred)
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards

JOB ENVIRONMENT/OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• May be required to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays, to accommodate business needs

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time

• Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, as well as abide by all company policies

• Takes on additional duties as required or assigned by management

COMPENSATION:

$18.00 - $21.00/hour. This range is inclusive of multiple job levels. Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
