How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Direct daily operations, clinical workflows, and patient care delivery across the unit, maintaining strict compliance with medical, legal, and ethical healthcare standards.

  • Oversee key clinical activities—including assessment, care planning, and service level determinations—while driving patient satisfaction and resolving complex complaints.

  • Lead end-to-end workforce planning, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and ongoing staff development to maintain high clinical standards.

  • Establish departmental goals aligned with organizational priorities; build, monitor, and manage the unit budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and resource optimization.

  • Direct internal and external audit processes to ensure continuous survey readiness and adherence to regulatory requirements.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
