We are hiring a DevOps Engineer
Hybrid working model – Novi Sad or Belgrade
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for business-critical applications
- Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related technologies
- Build, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes environments supporting both internal platforms and client-facing applications
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and DevOps best practices
- Create automation tools and scripts using Bash and Python to improve platform efficiency and reliability
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure, applications, and distributed systems across multiple environments
- Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of cloud platforms and services
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex production incidents
- Collaborate closely with Development, Security, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to deliver robust solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to platform engineering, automation, standardization, and operational excellence
- Participate in infrastructure design decisions and contribute to long-term cloud and platform strategy
Your Profile
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure and cloud-native architecture principles
- Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
- Extensive experience deploying and managing Kubernetes-based environments
- Strong containerization expertise using Docker
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash and Python
- Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions
- Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
- Experience supporting production environments and mission-critical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across distributed systems
- Ability to take ownership of infrastructure and platform services from design through production operations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and international teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar deployment tools
- Exposure to security best practices and DevSecOps methodologies
- Experience with multi-account AWS environments and large-scale cloud platforms
- Knowledge of database administration, performance tuning, and disaster recovery concepts
- Experience mentoring engineers and promoting DevOps best practices across teams
