Senior IT Auditor

A leading client is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join its high-performing assurance team. This opportunity is ideal for a strategic and technically strong audit professional who is passionate about IT governance, risk management, cyber security, and delivering meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute IT audit engagements from planning through to reporting and follow-up.
• Assess and review IT General Controls, Application Controls, Data Assurance, Cyber Security, and Technical Infrastructure controls.
• Evaluate IT risk management processes and provide recommendations to strengthen governance and controls.
• Prepare and review audit planning documents, risk and control matrices, testing procedures, working papers, and audit reports.
• Monitor audit quality, manage audit timelines and budgets, and provide regular progress updates to management.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior audit team members while ensuring high-quality audit delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders across the business and collaborate with risk, compliance, and forensic teams.

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Auditing, Auditing, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CGIT (at least one required).
• Minimum 4 years' audit experience with strong exposure to IT auditing.
• Proven experience conducting IT, operational, or financial audits.
• Strong knowledge of IT General Controls, Application Controls, Risk Management Frameworks (COSO), Corporate and IT Governance, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, and IT Infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing databases, operating systems, and technology environments.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and report-writing skills.
