- Shape executive decision-making: Frame ambiguous strategic questions, develop fact-based recommendations, and translate complex analysis into clear, practical options for senior executives, Management Committee members, and Board-level discussions.
- Build strategic narratives: Create compelling storylines and executive-ready materials that simplify complexity, clarify tradeoffs, and help leaders align on strategy, investment priorities, and execution paths.
- Drive cross-functional alignment: Partner with business lines, Finance, Technology, Product, Legal, Risk, Transformation, Corporate Development, and other senior stakeholders to ensure strategic recommendations are grounded in business realities and connected to execution.
- Advance competitive and market intelligence: Monitor the evolving wealth management landscape, advisor and end-client needs, new entrants, AI-driven disruption, monetization models, and competitor moves to identify implications for LPL’s strategy.
- Develop strategic options and business cases: Lead market sizing, financial modeling, scenario analysis, strategic option development, and risk assessment to support major enterprise decisions.
- Support Board and executive strategy sessions: Contribute to the development of Board, Management Committee, and senior leadership materials, including annual strategy sessions, strategic updates, and decision-oriented pre-reads.
- Manage and develop strategy talent: Lead project teams, coach analysts and managers, raise the quality of problem-solving and communication, and help build Corporate Strategy as a talent feeder for broader leadership roles across LPL.
- Translate strategy into execution: Work with partners across the firm to convert strategic recommendations into roadmaps, governance models, operating rhythms, success metrics, and implementation plans.
