Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Integrated Logistics, Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Responsibilities
Logistics Support Analyst focused on PHS&T, Sustainment, and Product Support:
· Possess a general understanding of acquisition logistics support concepts in the areas of part sustainability, reliability, maintainability, and availability of system components.
· Possess knowledge in all aspects of CONUS and OCONUS PHS&T, adherence to packaging guidelines and program security classification guides.
· Identify areas and trends that indicate potential problem areas. Create mitigation strategies and brief the Government customer on the resolutions.
· Provide assistance to DOD, Federal Agencies and authorized customers in screening and selecting property for reutilization.
· Administrate accountable records, adjustments, inventory corrections, and monitor the record status of government property inventory.
· Assist Supply Representatives in review of spares forecasts to meet future program needs regarding system readiness and cost projections.
· Utilize customer database to track government property, conduct periodic inventories on a scheduled basis reporting results to customers and enter inventory corrections as needed.
· Provide status and briefings to the Government customer(s) as required.
· Assist GOLD Admin by performing admin duties to enter new users or reestablish login credentials for existing users as needed.
· Provide inventory management monitoring and oversight utilizing the GOLD database for systems components and support equipment.
· General knowledge of the Federal Supply System as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
Qualifications
Active TS clearance is a MUST.
· U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.
· BS or BA degree in a technical, business, or management field from an accredited college or university.
· 10+ years of relevant experience. 5 years of experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics.
· Experience with and understanding of DoD government property policies and procedures.
· Adept at briefing program office level leadership.
· Proficiency with MS Excel, and other MS Office applications.
