Job Title: Head of Sync, ANZ SEA
A little bit about our team:
Our team is a dynamic, high-performing division dedicated to connecting Warner Music artists and catalogues to drive synchronisation revenue and secure exceptional visibility for our roster. Your work will directly impact our artists on a global scale by securing powerful synchronisation opportunities across diverse territories.
Your role:
This is a rare opportunity to lead the synchronisation strategy across the ANZ and SEA regions while remaining hands-on in landing major commercial deals in the music advertisement space. You will manage a high-performing team and actively pitch our incredible catalogue to secure prominent placements. This role allows you to combine high-level business planning with the excitement of directly negotiating and closing game-changing creative agreements. Working in this position feels collaborative, fast-paced, and highly rewarding as you cultivate an influential network of creative agency partners.
Here you’ll get to:
- You will formulate and lead the synchronisation strategy across Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia to increase revenue.
- You will pitch the Warner Music catalogue to secure high-value synchronisation placements, with a strong focus on the advertisement space.
- You will head up, guide, and develop a dedicated team of two synchronisation professionals to achieve regional commercial targets.
- You will build and maintain powerful relationships with top-tier advertising agencies, creative partners, and music supervisors.
- You will manage high-level negotiations and oversee the clearance of licensing agreements for advertising, film, and television campaigns.
- You will collaborate closely with regional commercial and brand partnerships teams to build integrated partnership opportunities.
- You will analyse market trends to identify new synchronisation opportunities and income streams.
About you:
- You have extensive experience in music synchronisation with a demonstrated history of landing key placements in the music advertising sector.
- You have an established and highly influential network of contacts across creative advertising agencies, music supervisors, and media networks.
- You are passionate about music and driving commercial opportunities that elevate our roster of artists.
- You enjoy heading up and mentoring a team in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- You will bring exceptional negotiation and communication skills to secure high-value deals with key commercial partners.
- You have exceptional attention to detail regarding licensing terms and contract negotiations.
We’d love it if you also had:
- Prior experience working in a regional capacity across both Australia and South East Asian music markets.
- Proficiency with digital asset management systems and bespoke music licensing tools.
