Your steady hands and your pride in your work are the reason dentists trust us with their most difficult cases, and the reason many of our clients have been with us since the very beginning.Our hope is that you find genuine satisfaction in what you build here, and that you feel at home while you do it.Position: Dental Laboratory Ceramist (Builder)Part time or Full-Time PositionSummary: Responsible for fabricating a wide range of fixed and appliances according to dentist prescriptions and established laboratory protocols, ensuring high-quality, functional, and esthetic results.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret dental prescriptions, work orders, and accompanying documentationFabricate, adjust, and finish dental restorations and appliances, such as:Crowns, bridges, inlays/onlaysPerform contouring, occlusal adjustment, and finishing/polishing of restorationsShade selection/verification and stain/glaze application as neededCheck fit, contacts, occlusion, margins, and overall quality before finalizing casesFollow lab protocols, turnaround times, and productivity expectationsCommunicate with team members (case coordinators, designers, quality control, etc.) regarding case issues or clarificationsMaintain a clean, organized work area and follow infection control and safety proceduresParticipate in training and stay current with new materials, techniques, and technologiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredFormal dental technology training or equivalent on‑the‑job experience preferred3-5 Year of experienceKnowledge of basic dental anatomy, occlusion, and restoration typesPrevious dental lab experience (entry to mid-level; adjust as needed)Manual dexterity and strong hand–eye coordinationAbility to read and follow detailed technical instructions and prescriptionsStrong attention to detail, quality, and estheticsGood communication and teamwork skillsCompetencies:Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.Ethics - Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Maintains confidentiality; Listens to others without interrupting; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.Judgment - Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.Leadership - Exhibits confidence in self and others; Inspires and motivates others to perform well; Effectively influences actions and opinions of others; Accepts feedback from others; Gives appropriate recognition to others.Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Puts success of team above own interests; Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed. Benefits:Competitive salary (based on experience)Health, Dental & Vision InsurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for continuing education and professional development Join Our Team:We are always looking to connect with qualified, career-minded dental technicians.
