ARE YOU THE MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE OUR TEAM NEEDS?
If you can meet the following requirements, we need you as our Member Services Representative!
- Associate's degree from an accredited two-year college or technical school, or equivalent education and experience
- 1+ years of related experience in a call center, medical office, or customer service environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and research abilities
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
- Strong data entry and documentation skills
- Ability to work within established policies, procedures, and service timelines
Experience in healthcare customer service or call center environments, knowledge of health plan benefits, eligibility or referral processes, experience resolving member complaints or escalations, familiarity with customer service software, and strong de-escalation skills are preferred.
WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
In this role, you'll be the trusted connection between Capital Health Plan and our members, answering inbound calls, providing clear and accurate information, and helping individuals navigate questions related to benefits, eligibility, referrals, and services. Throughout your day, you'll research and resolve concerns, document important interactions, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure every inquiry is handled with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
