About Us:
Huatai International Financial Holdings Company Limited (“Huatai International” or “the Company”), is the only overseas wholly-owned or controlled subsidiary of Huatai Securities. Huatai International is the Huatai Group’s international arm which plays as a crucial role in the group's internationalization strategy by:
a) not only providing offshore capital market services (and a global business platform) but also provides onshore clients with valuable cross-border capital market services (aligned with the mainland China government’s policies and commercial intentions);
b) actively making use of Huatai Securities’ leading position, distribution network and customer base in mainland China;
c) integrating on a global basis across many jurisdictions and regions, a successful and fully integrated international financial platform with innovative financial services solutions.

Huatai International operates as a holding company for consolidating all of the group’s cross-border businesses and companies under one umbrella, offering a truly unified and international business platform. In recognition of such international strength, the renowned international rating agency Standard and Poor’s has assigned Huatai International a “BBB+” rating (for long term) and “A-2” (for short-term).

Key Responsibilities:

The role will be responsible for senior client coverage, sales origination, product pitching, transaction execution coordination, and regulatory-compliant business development across FICC corporate sales activities.

  • Lead senior-level coverage and institutional engagement with mid-to-large Chinese corporate clients across key sectors.
  • Build long-term, trusted institutional relationships by understanding clients’ genuine risk-management needs and delivering appropriate solutions across vanilla flow products and complex derivatives, without unnecessary over-structuring.
  • Independently pitch structured solutions, including interest rate swaps, FX hedging, bonds, commodities and other FICC products, tailored to clients’ liability hedging, corporate asset management and event-driven transaction needs across both public-side and private-side activities.
  • Drive internal collaboration with relevant stakeholders to deliver integrated, institutional-grade market pitches and client solutions.
  • Work closely with Trading and Structuring desks to secure competitive pricing, access liquidity, and optimize execution workflows.
  • Coordinate and expedite approvals for complex corporate credit lines, ISDA/CSA negotiations, and internal risk allocations for high-notional transactions.
  • Maintain full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal control standards, including SFC, HKMA, SAFE and PBOC-related requirements, and ensure cross-border transactions comply with AML, suitability and KYC frameworks.

Requirements

  • At least 8–12 years of experience in global markets, preferably with a sales focus; proven experience in corporate sales is highly preferred.

  • Results-driven with a strong sales mindset and solid knowledge of client onboarding, relationship management, derivatives pitching and credit application processes.

  • Strong familiarity with rates and FX products, including IRS, NDFs and options, as well as credit bonds and macro hedging strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-border corporate clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to analyze macroeconomic trends, central bank policies and global market dynamics, with particular focus on China-related developments.

    Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg and other market data tools.
