GE Vernova is seeking a senior, enterprise level leader to own and integrate Global Sourcing Systems, Advanced Analytics, and Strategic Initiatives. This role combines ownership of the Source to Pay operating model, digital platforms, data & analytics with leadership of high visibility strategic initiatives, GenAI enablement, governance, and enterprise capability building.This leader will define and execute the future state sourcing vision for GE Vernova—modernizing how sourcing works across businesses through process harmonization, systems simplification, advanced analytics, and digital innovation, while also serving as a trusted thought partner to the Sourcing Operations Leader and CPO.
The role requires a balance of strategic vision, execution rigor, digital fluency, and executive presence, with direct impact on productivity, savings delivery, risk management, and sourcing maturity enterprise wide.
Job Description
Role Summary/Purpose
This role is responsible for establishing and leading a global Sourcing Operations and Analytics team supporting the GEV Centralized Indirect Sourcing Category Management teams and driving category-specific spend, savings analysis, market research, should-cost analysis, and bid analysis/evaluation. This role will support the Category Management teams in sourcing events to include planning and advocate for application of LEAN principles to drive continuous improvement. This person will establish and institutionalize best-practice processes, policies, and tools across the GEV Centralized Indirect Sourcing procurement team, including spend analytics, savings and initiative tracking, sourcing tool configuration and applications. This role will lead Cash Analytics activities to include providing visibility to GEV supplier payment terms and forecasted cash impact projects via cash opportunity dashboards. Responsibilities include maintaining the GEV Preferred Supplier List and ensuring any changes are approved by the appropriate personnel. This role leads Savings Management efforts to include managing GEV-level savings strategy and roadmap.
Essential Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a global sourcing analytics team supporting the GEV Centralized Indirect Sourcing function/spend (e.g., market research, supplier identification, RFX development, should-cost analysis, bid analysis and evaluation)
- Establish standardized commercial practices within the procurement function, including processes, procedures, controls, and systems and development of the procurement playbook codifying these practices (e.g., standard work strategic sourcing process, RFP/RFI tools and library, governance, and compliance standards)
- Own master data management solutions for the Centralized Indirect Sourcing organization that are designed for consistency and accuracy
- Partner with business, finance, and digital teams to receive and maintain updated business unit structure, UNSPC taxonomy, financial charter of accounts mapping, legal entity mapping, normalization of names, parent-child linkage, internal or external suppliers list and indirect, capital expenditure, direct materials, and other non-controllable spend mapping tables.
- Own and refine spend management tools and data capture and drive category-specific spend and savings analysis
- Provide expertise on reporting capabilities across the GEV Centralized Indirect Sourcing organization
- Own category analytics, cash analytics, and the preferred supplier list management
- Lead Savings Management efforts
- Lead implementation of LEAN principles across GEV Centralized Sourcing organization
- Drive user/requestor engagement to improve the Centralized Sourcing experience and advocate for tool/process adoption through project execution and coaching
Qualifications/Requirements
- Major experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, IT, Data Analytics, or equivalent consulting experience
- Significant experience directly leading teams
- Demonstrated ability in leading large scale organizational, process, and culture change
- For roles not in USA, this role requires significant experience comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
- For roles in USA, this role requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least significant experience in job family group/function)

- MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, IT, Data Analytics or Engineering, or equivalent experience/ knowledge

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $149,400.00 and $248,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
