Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed - Secret Clearance in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
