Description
M-POWER is MECCA’s social impact initiative, working towards our vision of gender equality in our lifetime. We believe that when women and girls have equal access to opportunity, everyone benefits.
Through the M-POWER Collective, MECCA Archive, MECCA Prize and our broader gender equality initiatives, we partner with leading organisations, back changemakers, share stories that shift culture and create initiatives designed to drive meaningful, lasting change.
We’re looking for an M-POWER Program Lead to help bring this work to life. Partnering closely with the Head of M-POWER, this role sits at the heart of M-POWER – combining creative thinking, project management and commercial acumen to turn ambitious ideas into thoughtfully planned and seamlessly delivered programs, campaigns and experiences.
The Role You Could Play:
As M-POWER Program Lead, you’ll be the operational backbone of the team, helping shape ideas and coordinating the people, plans and partnerships needed to deliver them. You will:
Support the end-to-end ideation, planning and delivery of M-POWER projects, campaigns, events and activations, including International Day of the Girl, MECCA Archive, MECCA Prize and key impact partnerships
Develop project plans, timelines and critical paths, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and proactively identifying risks, dependencies and approvals
Partner across MECCA, including Content, Marketing, Creative Hub, MECCA Experience and Digital, to embed M-POWER initiatives and storytelling across the business
Support M-POWER operations and governance, including budgets, forecasting, invoicing, contracts, vendor management, measurement and reporting
Support the Head of M-POWER with strategic and annual planning, stakeholder and partner engagement, project KPIs and post-implementation reviews
What You Will Bring:
You’re a creative, highly organised and solutions-focused project professional who enjoys turning big ideas into action. You’re equally comfortable thinking strategically and getting into the detail required to make exceptional work happen. Ideally, you will bring:
4+ years’ experience in creative program or project management, production, events or integrated campaign delivery, ideally within a creative or impact agency or an in-house brand team
Strong project, partnership and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience delivering multi-layered projects involving multiple stakeholder groups
Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, create structure and keep projects moving in a fast-paced environment
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, resourcing, contracts and reporting
A creative, collaborative and adaptable mindset, paired with excellent communication and relationship-building skills and a genuine interest in social impact and gender equality
Your Life At MECCA
Whilst we are focused on our #CustomerFirst mantra, we know that wouldn’t be possible without an incredible team that is guided by our MECCA values and motivated each and every day to be solutions focused, innovative, collaborative and adaptable, and have a bit of fun along the way!
Some of our other team member benefits include:
Professional development programs and first-class digitised learning offering
Health and well-being initiatives
Reward and recognition programs
Access to bonus and incentive programs
Access to quarterly product allowance
Generous discount to spoil yourselves and your immediate family, as well as a generous product allowance, subject to company policy
There are also so many other ways in which you’ll be made to feel part of the MECCA story as we love to celebrate, surprise and delight our team along the way.
