The Position
The Customer Success Partner will be responsible for developing customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty. They will support and work together with the Area Sales Team to ensure that assigned customers achieve their expected business outcomes with Maersk solutions. The role is based in Auckland, New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
Partner closely with Sales teams through established engagement channels, helping strengthen customer relationships, accelerate growth opportunities, and ensure customers realize maximum value from their investment with Maersk.
Support Sales in developing and executing customer growth strategies by aligning internal stakeholders to customer business goals and priorities.
Monitor customer performance against agreed objectives, proactively identifying opportunities and risks, and working with Sales to drive adoption, retention, and business growth.
Act as a customer advocate, addressing customer needs and coordinating effective issue resolution to support both customer satisfaction and commercial outcomes.
Manage customer allocation programs and collaborate with customers and Sales teams to ensure delivery against agreed commitments.
Support the Sales team in managing tender opportunities by coordinating cross-functional inputs and ensuring competitive, customer-focused proposals are delivered on time.
Coordinate quoting, pricing, contracting, and implementation activities, enabling efficient execution of customer opportunities and commercial agreements.
Drive timely contract renewals and contract management activities, partnering with Sales to maximize retention and minimize revenue risk.
Facilitate customer business reviews, account planning sessions, and pipeline discussions, providing insights that support growth, retention, and account development.
Build strong relationships across Sales, Product, Operations, CX, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to deliver seamless customer outcomes and support sales success.
Identify opportunities for service expansion, cross-selling, and upselling, collaborating with Sales teams to convert opportunities into sustainable growth.
