Now interviewing for Maintenance Technician
Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of all Aspire buildings and grounds, and will perform a variety of tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, general carpentry repairs and painting. This position will be required to be on rotation on-call (24/7) schedule. Some local travel required.
Education/Experience/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in general maintenance
- Knowledgeable in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry highly preferred
- Knowledgeable of residential and/or commercial systems components, such as HVAC, electrical and/or plumbing highly preferred
- Facilities experience in a mental health facility or healthcare setting preferred
- Must have the ability to work from a ladder, lift at least 100 lbs., operate hand and power tools (hammers, saws, screwdrivers, drills, power saws, chainsaws, etc.), and drive large and small trucks with standard or automatic transmissions
- Must maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
