Overview
The Senior Regional Business Manager (RBM) for the Engineered Materials business is a key leadership role with full P&L responsibility for the assigned regional product portfolio. This position is accountable for driving profitable growth, shaping business strategy, and delivering operational excellence across the region. The RBM will lead cross-functional teams, set and execute commercial strategies, and ensure the business achieves its financial and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
YOU will be involved in the following tasks:
- Business Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a compelling regional business strategy for the product portfolio, aligned with the broader Engineered Materials vision.
- Own the annual operating plan (AOP), including monthly and quarterly P&L accountability, and deliver on financial commitments.
- Build and leverage deep industry and market knowledge to inform sales, innovation, procurement, and supply chain strategies.
- Portfolio & Value Management
- Define and manage the product portfolio, including promotable grades, SKU optimization, and obsolescence planning.
- Analyze product and customer portfolios to identify and capture incremental value opportunities.
- Oversee the health and progression of the regional project pipeline, ensuring robust innovation and responsiveness to market needs.
- Lead capacity expansion initiatives and develop business cases for growth investments.
- Commercial Excellence
- Set and execute pricing and growth strategies, empowering sales teams to maximize value realization.
- Scrutinize, select, and price individual sales opportunities and projects to optimize profitability.
- Drive S&OP processes, collaborating with production, procurement, and sales to ensure optimal site, inventory, and supply strategies.
- Lead or support key supplier and customer negotiations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Operational & Financial Stewardship
- Monitor and respond to variable and fixed cost trends, proactively managing risks and opportunities.
- Prevent profit leakage through rigorous enforcement of business rules and commercial discipline.
- Lead annual strategic planning and budgeting for the regional business.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Inspire and lead cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious business goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
