Description

As a Logistics Manager at MKS Inc., you will be responsible for leading and optimizing all logistics and warehouse operations to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products across the organization. You will drive strategic initiatives focused on transportation, inventory management, warehouse operations, and process improvement while ensuring service excellence, and operational continuity. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and report to the General Manager.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning: Developing logistics strategies aligned with company objectives, considering factors like cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Transportation Management: Coordinating the movement of goods via various transportation modes (e.g., trucks, ships, planes), and optimizing routes to minimize costs and delivery times.
• Inventory Management: Ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
• Warehouse Operations: Managing warehouse facilities, including layout optimization, good received, inventory storage, picking/packing processes to maximize efficiency and secure delivery performance.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance through data analysis and process improvement initiatives.
• Risk Management: Mitigating potential disruptions in the supply chain, such as natural disasters, geopolitical events, or transportation delays, by implementing contingency plans and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

• Legislation: Ensure that logistics operations and third-party carriers operate in full compliance with applicable transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards. .
• Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team of logistics professionals, including supervisors, planners, and coordinators, to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of related experience
