Warehouse Admin. Clerk - 3rd Shift

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Administrator to join our team and support the smooth operations of our warehouse. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for checking in CDL drivers, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring efficient communication between drivers and warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driver Check-in: Greet and assist CDL drivers upon arrival for load pickups, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
• Data Entry & Inventory Support: Accurately enter data into our inventory system and assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly, clear, and professional customer service to CDL drivers, addressing inquiries and ensuring timely and smooth operations.
• Order Documentation: Maintain detailed records of orders, deliveries, and pickups, ensuring all information is properly documented.
• Scheduling: Coordinate and book times for incoming deliveries, ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently.
• Shipment Tracking & Documentation: Assist with tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all relevant shipping and delivery documents are accurately completed and filed.
• Inventory Audits: Support periodic inventory counts and help reconcile discrepancies in stock levels to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Staff: Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure all orders are fulfilled on time, including tracking special instructions or specific requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Assist in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment by following safety protocols and helping ensure a clean, organized workspace.
• System Updates: Regularly update internal systems with delivery statuses, inventory changes, and any relevant logistical information.

• High school Diploma 

 Work Environment and Physical Requirements 

The work environment is a general office setting and a c cold production setting with concrete floors. This position requires the team member to: 

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area. 

· Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 

· Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance, vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. 

· Frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear. 

· Stand and walk in cold temperatures (38 degrees) for several hours, when needed
