North America Enterprise Architecture Director - Supply Chain

Overview

The North America Supply Chain Domain Architect is responsible for defining and governing the supply chain solution architecture strategy, standards compliance, and technology roadmaps across Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Warehousing, Transportation, and Fleet capabilities. The role partners with North America Supply Chain Transformation, Business teams, Product, Engineering, Data & AI, and Global domain Architecture teams to translate business priorities into scalable, future-ready technology solutions while ensuring alignment to enterprise architecture standards and principles. The role serves as the primary supply chain architecture leader in North America for the Supply Chain domain and supports execution of the broader Supply Chain & Operations architecture strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Supply Chain architectures for sector initiatives in alignment with the global technology standards, capability models, and business flows.
• Establish target-state architecture and technology roadmaps across Manufacturing, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Warehousing, Transportation, and Fleet capabilities.
• Lead technology assessments and recommendations to support business and transformation priorities in collaboration with the global domain architects.
• Drive adoption of common platforms, patterns, and standards to simplify and modernize the technology landscape.
• Define conceptual, logical, and physical architectures for strategic Make & Move initiatives across North America.
• Define solution architecture approaches that enable scalability, maintainability, security, and long-term sustainability.
• Develop reusable architecture patterns and implementation guidance to accelerate solution delivery.
• Support architecture reviews and provide guidance to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Drive architecture alignment across all supply chain initiatives and solutions in North America.
• Identify architecture risks, dependencies, and exceptions and drive resolution through established governance processes.
• Partner with global supply chain domain Architecture, Product, Engineering, Data & AI, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure consistency and reuse.
• Promote alignment to enterprise capability models, technology strategies, and architecture standards.
• Provide architecture coaching and guidance to capability teams, delivery teams, Solution Architects, and project teams.
• Support Product and Engineering organizations in aligning solutions with approved architecture patterns.
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders to ensure solutions can scale across sectors and markets.
• Drive modernization, standardization, and platform convergence across Planning, Manufacturing, EAM, Warehousing, Transportation, and Fleet domains.
• Leverage architecture patterns supporting cloud-enabled, data-driven, and AI-enabled business capabilities.
• Promote interoperability, reusable integration approaches, and common information models across Planning, Manufacturing, EAM, Warehousing, Transportation, and Fleet solutions.
• Mentor and Manage a team of architects

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $132,200 - $262,400.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
• Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Technology Strategy, Supply Chain Technology, or related leadership roles.
• Deep expertise across Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Warehousing, Transportation, and Fleet business capabilities.
• Experience defining architecture strategies, technology roadmaps, reference architectures, and solution architectures for global supply chain organizations.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale business transformation initiatives and technology modernization programs.
• Experience with Manufacturing, EAM, WMS, TMS, Fleet, and related Supply Chain application ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, integration technologies, cloud platforms, enterprise data concepts, and AI-enabled business capabilities.
• Ability to translate business priorities and capability roadmaps into scalable technology solutions and architecture strategies.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand end-to-end process, data, application, and technology relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders and build alignment across global, regional, and functional teams.
• Effective executive communication, storytelling, and architecture governance experience.
• Experience operating within global, federated organizations and partnering across Product, Engineering, Data & AI, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Supply Chain Architecture Leadership: Provides architecture direction across Manufacturing, EAM, Warehousing, Transportation, and Fleet capabilities.
• Systems Thinking: Understands end-to-end relationships across Make & Move processes and platforms.
• Architectural Excellence: Translates business priorities into scalable architecture and solution patterns.
• Collaboration: Builds strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Data & AI, Transformation, and Sector Architecture teams.
• Standardization & Reuse: Drives consistency while balancing business flexibility and regional needs.
