Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years' accounting experience

CPA, advanced degree or certification in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of accounting systems, principles, and practices. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Skill in the use of mathematics. Interpersonal skills. Management skills. Ability to analyze data and/or information.
Responsibilities
- Manages the accounting operations of an assigned area or unit.
- Hires, trains, mentors, and evaluates the performance of employees.
- Develops, implements, modifies, and documents record keeping and accounting systems.
- Assists in the selection, design, testing, and implementation of accounting software applications and systems.
- Prepares, examines, and analyzes accounting records and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Coordinates with internal and external customers to answer questions, convey information, and resolve accounting issues.
