Toddler Teacher - Red Bank

Chambliss Center for Children – Red Bank is looking for two experienced, caring, and dependable Toddler Teachers to join our team! 

If you have a couple of years of classroom experience and love helping toddlers learn, explore, and develop their independence, we’d love to meet you!

• Competitive Pay Based on Education & Experience: Our pay scale starts at $11/hour with high school diploma and little experience, and increases based on your education, credentials, and relevant experience, with opportunities to earn $16–$17+/hour.

What You’ll Do

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for toddlers.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Build positive relationships with children while supporting their growing independence and emerging skills.
• Maintain consistent routines for meals, diapering/toileting, naps, transitions, and play.
• Observe children and communicate important developmental, behavioral, and health information to families and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Work collaboratively with co-teachers and other members of the center team.
• Follow all Chambliss Center policies and Tennessee Department of Human Services licensing requirements.

What We’re Looking For
At least 18 years old.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience working in an early childhood classroom is strongly preferred.
• CDA or higher education in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Patient, dependable, energetic, and compassionate.
• Able to communicate professionally with children, families, and coworkers
• Someone who understands that working with toddlers takes both patience and a good sense of humor!
