About this opportunity:
The Ericsson Order Care Developer is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, enhancing, testing, implementing, and supporting Ericsson Order Care solutions. The role focuses on delivering ADM Change Service Requests (CSRs), supporting order fulfilment processes, managing Software Update Management activities, and ensuring seamless integration between upstream and downstream systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business and customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop, customize, test, and implement Ericsson Order Care applications in CBiO environments.
Deliver ADM CSRs, including UI, workflow, business-rule, and configuration enhancements.
Support Order Lifecycle Management, Order Validation, Service Activation, Order Orchestration, and fulfilment processes.
Develop and maintain solutions using Java and JavaScript.
Design, develop, and support integrations using REST APIs, Web Services, and Message Queue technologies.
Plan and execute Software Update Management activities, including deployment, validation, and rollback procedures.
Perform unit testing, system integration testing, defect analysis, root-cause investigation, and production support.
Troubleshoot order-processing failures, integration issues, and application defects.
Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, development teams, third-party vendors, testers, architects, and operations teams.
Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, release planning, and implementation activities.
Prepare technical designs, test evidence, implementation plans, deployment procedures, and support documentation.
Ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems and compliance with delivery and change-management standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong experience in Java and JavaScript development.
Hands-on experience with Ericsson Order Care and CBiO environments.
Strong understanding of order management and fulfilment processes.
Experience with UI, workflow, and business-rule customization.
Practical knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, Message Queues, and asynchronous integrations.
Experience in software development, testing, release management, and production support.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with customers and business stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in telecommunications, OSS/BSS, service fulfilment, or order management.
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and ITIL processes.
Experience with incident, problem, change, and release management.
Success Measures:
Timely and high-quality delivery of ADM CSRs and enhancements.
Stable and reliable Order Care applications and integrations.
Effective production support and defect resolution.
Successful execution of SUM activities with minimal service impact.
Customer satisfaction and compliance with quality, security, and documentation standards.
