Overview

Kemin Industries is searching for a Sustainability Analyst Reporter, based in Veronella (VR), Italy.

 

The Sustainability Analyst Reporter is responsible for contributing to Kemin's progress toward our sustainability strategy and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals. This role is responsible for the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data related to sustainability, ensuring robust reporting and tracking of progress. The role supports the business by providing objective, accurate insights on key ESG indicator performance across the EMEA organization. This position reports to the EMEA Sustainability team.

Responsibilities

Data Collection & Management

  • Analyze quantitative ESG data and ensure robust and correct reporting and tracking of metrics
  • Responsible for data management and supporting tooling for sustainability reporting
  • Support ESG data collection and consolidation for the EMEA region, ensuring all data reported is in line with legal requirements

 

Reporting

  • Support the different departments and business units on non-financial reporting
  • Participate in improvement projects and tool implementations to drive automatic data collection
  • Contribute to global sustainability reports and sustainability evaluation platforms

 

Coordination

  • Drive initiatives to improve ESG metrics within the EMEA region
  • Support departments with key insights and action plans to reach specific ESG goals
  • Educate and train employees on sustainability

 

Other Activities & Projects

  • Respond to customer sustainability questionnaires and surveys
  • Perform product and corporate Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs)
  • Support other cross-functional sustainability projects and initiatives as needed
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, engineering, law, or a related field
  • Experience in sustainability reporting in a global organization is a plus
  • Knowledge of environmental footprint methodologies (e.g. GHG Protocol, LCA), target-setting frameworks (e.g. Science Based Targets), reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI), and sustainability platforms (e.g. EcoVadis)
  • Knowledge of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME), or other reporting standards is a plus
  • Affinity with handling data and good knowledge of Excel
  • Fluent spoken and written English (any other language is a plus)

Job Offer Details

 

Contract: Permanent

Working hours: full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times.

Annual gross salary (RAL): 4 level CCNL Food Industry; Range RAL: 33,000-38,000 euro.Benefits: 1 day of smart working per week; Meal vouchers (€10) or canteen; Variable compensation; Longevity Program; Health insurance (FASA); Company discounts; Company gym and free fruit service.
