• Full- time – Full- time – 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm)  
• Starting Rate: Starting Rate: $27.44

Job Description:  

The person hired for the position of MATERIAL HANDLER I will work at our 3M INDIANAPOLIS, IN plant site.

As a MATERIAL HANDLER I you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a(n) Material Handler I, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Perform the goods receipt (GR) for both the finished goods (FG) and the work in process (WIP) at the work center level.
• Perform both physical and virtual moves in SAP for (FG) and (WIP) to appropriate storage locations within the plant and/or offsite storage.
• Load/Unload trailers as needed
• Verify Shelf Life
• Verify Paperwork for Quantity Discrepancies

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher completed and verified prior to start.
• Three (3) years of receiving/material moving experience in a manufacturing environment in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Three (3) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Detail oriented and high organization skills.
• Effective email, presentation, and documentation skills.

Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.

Pay Transparency: 

The starting rate of pay for this position is $27.44. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
