Business Development Manager- Brisbane based

Region: Southeast Queensland

The Role

Join Bega Group as a Business Development Manager and lead a high-performing team focused on identifying, pursuing and securing new business opportunities for our thriving foodservice channel. Reporting to the Senior National Business Manager, you will drive customer acquisition, build strategic partnerships, develop your team and deliver sustainable sales growth through strong customer relationships, market insight and commercial leadership. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across growth channels while championing a customer-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development activities, generating new opportunities through networking, prospecting and pipeline development.

  • Drive customer acquisition by converting leads into long-term partnerships and delivering sustainable sales growth.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand existing channels and enter new markets.

  • Coach, develop and lead a high-performing team while fostering a strong culture of accountability and safety.

About You

  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport

  • Demonstrated success achieving sales targets and delivering commercial results

  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and a customer-first mindset

  • Skilled in negotiation, influencing stakeholders and driving team success
