About this opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Transaction Services professional to join our fast growing Advisory team. Working closely with corporates, owner-managed businesses, private equity investors and lenders, you will lead financial due diligence engagements across buy-side and sell-side.

Joining Bishop Fleming at an exciting stage of growth, you will play a key role in developing our Transaction Services proposition across the South West and West Midlands, working alongside an experienced leadership team and helping clients make informed investment and transaction decisions.

You'll have the opportunity to work directly with Partners, shape the future direction of the team, develop junior colleagues and play a valuable role in expanding our market presence.

Your responsibilities will include:  

• Leading and delivering a range of due diligence assignments, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard, on time and within budget.
• Acting as the primary client contact and building strong, long-term client relationships.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, identifying transaction issues and identifying opportunities to add value for clients.
• Supporting the development of Bishop Fleming's Transaction Services proposition across the South West and Midlands.
• Supporting business development activities, including building intermediary networks, identifying opportunities, pitching for new work and contributing to tender submissions.
• Developing relationships with new and existing clients to promote the firm's wider service offering and generate new business opportunities.
• Coaching, developing and managing junior team members through formal and on-the-job learning, regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Working collaboratively with Partners, Directors and colleagues across the firm to deliver joined-up client solutions and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Sharing technical knowledge and acting as a recognised Corporate Finance specialist both internally and externally.

What we are looking for

To be considered for the role, you will need to be:   

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• A great people manager who enjoys developing and coaching their teams
• An excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients and prospects
• Commercially minded with the ability to spot opportunities that may benefit our clients
• Keen to contribute to the firm’s business development activities and have the drive to contribute towards Bishop Fleming’s growth
• Well organised with strong attention to detail
• A real team player who can work well under pressure
