To support our growing Business Unit - Transformers, to develop digitalization strategy of Hitachi's organization we are looking for experienced professionals to join the team as Application Manager.
In this role you will be specifically supporting the Quality Management System Portfolio.
You will be involved in the testing and validation of our products.
As an Application Manager you are responsible for maximizing the business value of the applications in your portfolio and to support continuous improvement activities to enable our business growth.
How you will make an impact:
Ensure the applications in the portfolio are aligned with the HE IT Enterprise Architecture and Global IT Domains strategy.
Ensure that all applications have proper license arrangement for the user community.
Ensure that all applications are registered with the CMDB and follow HE Service Management guidelines.
Ensure Service Delivery within SLAs for all Incidents and Change Requests and a governance process aligned with HE standards Ensure all applications with the portfolio are compliant with HE IT Security standards.
Maintain technical and user documentation and keep up to date.
Manage vendors and costs to ensure best value for service delivery.
Work with the business teams and application owners to pursue a strategy of continuous improvement
Your background:
Education &experience: min. 8 +years of experience in IT & min. 5 years of experience in application management area (quality, engineering, manufacturing application preferred)
Area knowledge & experience: vendor management experience (task, process & KPI execution), portfolio application management experience, gathering & management requirements experience
Soft skills: good communication skills
Hard skills: analytical skills – you need be able to see broader view of business requirement and their input for the process
Language skills: English on min. B2 level - you need to be able to easily communicate with stakeholders
