Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
This opportunity is for a People & Culture Advisor to join People Advice, part of the wider People & Culture team. You will be providing a high level of internal customer service by responding to people-related queries while building the capability of our people leaders, coaching them through employee relations case work and supporting with training sessions, change management processes and projects. You will also work directly alongside People & Culture Business Partners supporting areas of the business on anything people related.
We are close-knit shared services People Advice team who are the first point of contact for all P&C generalist queries for the New Zealand and Australian businesses. We strive to ‘make everyday better’ by delivering exceptional customer service for our employees and people leaders. Working collaboratively, we support each other, share knowledge and problem-solve together, having fun and a good laugh along the way is really important to us all.
Mōu ake | About you
You will have gained a solid generalist background from a similar Advisor or Coordinator role, with sound knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation. Knowledge of Australian employment legislation is not critical but would be helpful. You have a “can do” attitude, passionate about creating and building connections across all levels of the organisation. Practical and logical, you don’t shy away from tricky conversations, thriving on working ‘in the grey’ and guiding toward solutions. Delivering professional, timely service is important to you. You love to get involved and support the team, taking an active role and contributing to the culture of our team.
